Brazilian Publishers Face Tech and Innovation Challenges in New Survey

Flavio Moreira has launched a survey to map the technology and innovation challenges confronting publishers in Brazil. Respondents are asked about audience‑crisis, traffic declines, monetisation difficulties, the impact of artificial intelligence and shifting consumption habits. The study seeks to reveal which tools publishers use, how they understand their audiences, ways to generate revenue beyond a single source, and how to turn content into products while preserving editorial identity. Participation is open to all newsroom staff, newsletters, independent projects, creators and niche media, with a free eight‑minute questionnaire and fully anonymous, aggregated results.

The initiative aims to provide the sector with a clearer picture of its own bottlenecks, helping companies move beyond intuition‑driven decisions toward more sustainable, data‑informed strategies.
