Brazilian regional festivals draw crowds in Minas Gerais and Santa Catarina

The annual Festa da Mandioca in Honório Bicalho, Minas Gerais, will take place on August 1‑2 and feature popular pagode artists Vitinho and Bruno Diegues, who rose to fame with groups such as Jeito Moleque and have accumulated millions of YouTube views.

The 24th Festa do Agricultor was held on Sunday, June 19, in Faxinal dos Ilhéus, São Mateus do Sul. The celebration included a dawn ceremony, a procession with tractors and riders, a Mass, a traditional barbecue lunch, bingo, and live music by Grupo Chama no Fole. The event also crowned a queen and princesses for the next edition.
