Brazilian representatives selected for international technical and entrepreneurship competitions

Two Brazilian representatives have been selected to compete in the global OJ Skills Competition organized by Omoda & Jaecoo. Mizael Carlos Roza Andrade secured first place, while Jhony Fabio da Silva took second. The finalists will travel to Wuhu, China, in November for the international final. The selection process, held at the Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia’s Electric Mobility Laboratory, involved 86 participants and focused on technical skills, automotive diagnostics, and high-voltage battery safety procedures.

Separately, Brazil will make its debut at the World Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge (WYEC) in New York in November 2026. University students Arthur Gimenez da Cruz from Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia and Caio Costa Quintana from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora were chosen following the first Brazilian University Entrepreneurship Selection. The initiative, organized by ENG DTP & Multimídia, aims to connect the Brazilian academic entrepreneurship ecosystem with an international network of educators and organizations.
