Brazilian sailors prepare for ILCA and IQFoil World Championships

Brazilian sailors are preparing for the upcoming ILCA and IQFoil World Championships as part of their training cycle for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. The competitions will take place in Europe between late August and early September.

The ILCA World Championship will be held in Dun Laoghaire, Ireland, from August 23 to 30. The Brazilian female representatives include Valentina Roma Victor de Araújo and Ana Carolina Roth, while the male roster features Gustavo Kiessling, Antonio Rosa, Philipp Grochtmann, Mathias Reimer, and Frederico Francavilla.

Following the Irish event, the IQFoil World Championship will take place in Weymouth, England, from September 4 to 12. Mateus Isaac and Guilherme Plentz will represent Brazil in this category. Isaac has already begun preparation at the Weymouth venue, which previously hosted sailing events during the London 2012 Olympics.
