Brazilian sector developments: ANR training and Curitiba's Agrolab

The National Association of Restaurants (ANR) has established training and development as a strategic pillar to support the food service sector. The initiative aims to provide technical and strategic tools through various formats, including webinars, practical courses, workshops, and expert meetings. Additionally, the ANR is launching the ANR Study Group to bring together specialists and operators to anticipate market trends and strengthen business resilience.

In Curitiba, the municipal government has formed Agrolab, a multidisciplinary group dedicated to integrating family farming into the city's food security and nutritional policies. The group seeks to connect producers with consumers through local supply points such as 'Armazéns da Família' and municipal markets. The initiative focuses on increasing the visibility of regional producers and educating the public on food origins and cultivation methods.
