Brazil advances legislative bills on public health and domestic violence protection
The Brazilian legislature is advancing several bills focused on public health and social protection. In the realm of women's safety, the Constitution and Justice Commission (CCJ) approved a project to establish a mandatory national protocol for the humanized treatment of domestic violence victims. Additionally, a proposal seeks to create the role of a case manager to provide continuous, personalized monitoring for women at high risk of violence, inspired by models in Spain and the United Kingdom.
