Brazilian Senate debates challenges for adrenal insufficiency patients

Additionally, Natan Monsores de Sá, the Ministry of Health's coordinator for rare diseases, addressed the issue of 'orphan drugs,' noting that essential medications for rare conditions are increasingly difficult to manage as they cease production by the pharmaceutical industry. He called for legislative and budgetary support to strengthen the national industrial complex.
