Brazilian Senate receives CAU/DF seal for architectural preservation

The Brazilian Senate has been awarded the CAU/DF Seal in recognition of its revitalization and conservation efforts regarding its official residences. The Senate's apartment building secured first place among the highest-rated properties of 2025 and received the distinction in early 2026.

Initiated by the Council of Architecture and Urbanism of the Federal District (CAU/DF), the seal honors constructions that maintain the authenticity and original characteristics of modern architecture while implementing best practices in maintenance, renovation, and building restoration. Luan Carlos Ozelim, coordinator of Infrastructure Projects and Works, noted that the nomination was a spontaneous recognition initiated by the community.

The Senate continues to undertake broader interventions to conserve and requalify its architectural complex, aiming to balance historical preservation with improved usability for future generations.
