Brazilian Serie B clubs Audax São Mateus and Sport gear up for upcoming matches

Audax São Mateus announced the signing of veteran striker Jobson, a 38‑year‑old former Botafogo, Atlético and Bahia forward. He was presented on Thursday, took part in training and is expected to start in the classic against Linhares on Saturday at Estádio Sernamby. Jobson highlighted his recent game for Comercial (MT) and expressed confidence that his experience will help the young Audax squad.

Sport prepared its lineup for the Serie B clash with Vila Nova in Goiânia. Coach Gilmar Dal Pozzo is considering changes, including a possible start for newcomer Willian Oliveira in midfield and the inclusion of Diego Hernández. Goalkeeper Brenno and midfielder Murilo Rhikman are also cleared to play, while several regulars remain unavailable due to injury or tactical decisions.

Both clubs are seeking points to improve their positions in the Brazilian Serie B competition.
