Brazilian Serie D announces 32 second‑stage matchups

The knockout phase of Brazil's Serie D, the fourth tier of the Campeonato Brasileiro, has been set with 32 second‑stage ties. The pairings were created by crossing adjacent groups – the group winner faces the fourth‑placed team of the next group, while the runner‑up meets the third‑placed side. First‑leg matches are scheduled for 20‑21 June, with the return legs on 27‑28 June.

The fixtures determine which clubs will continue the race for the national title and which six will secure promotion to Serie C for the 2027 season. Sample pairings include Independência (AC) vs Manauara (AM), Gama (DF) vs São Raimundo (RR), and ASA (AL) vs Sergipe (SE). All 32 clubs now know their opponents as the competition moves into the home‑and‑away elimination rounds.

The new format also adds two extra promotion spots via a repechage among the quarter‑final losers, bringing the total to six clubs advancing to Serie C.
