Brazilian sertanejo duo Hugo & Guilherme sign record deal with Warner Music

Hugo & Guilherme, the Goiás‑born sertanejo duo, officially signed a contract with Warner Music on 4 August in Miami. The ceremony was attended by Leila Oliveira, president of Warner Music Brazil, and Alejandro Duque, president of Warner Music Latin America, underscoring the label’s commitment to the Brazilian market.

The partnership follows the pair’s rise to prominence with billions of streams and hits such as “Mal Feito,” recorded with the late Marília Mendonça. In addition to performing, the artists run Original Music and Original Music Label, handling their own career and artist development. Warner Music highlighted the deal as a strategic move to strengthen its presence in the country’s most popular music genre, sertanejo, and to support new projects for the duo both domestically and internationally.
