Police investigate two separate shooting incidents in Brazil's Itabira and São Paulo

A 30‑year‑old man was shot dead on the night of 10 April in the Pedreira neighborhood of Itabira, Minas Gerais. Police, the Military Police and emergency services responded, but the victim was already deceased when paramedics arrived. The case is being investigated by the Civil Police, with motive still unknown.

On 9 April, a 29‑year‑old woman and her 35‑year‑old partner were shot during a robbery in the Brazilândia district of São Paulo. The assailant, also on a motorcycle, fled after stealing a ring and other belongings. Both victims were taken to Hospital Brasilândia and remain hospitalized. The incident has been recorded as robbery and is under investigation by local police.
