Brazilian singers Neném and Paula Aires address recent divorces

Several Brazilian musical figures have publicly addressed the end of their long-term marriages.

Singer Neném, part of the duo with Pepê, spoke on social media regarding the conclusion of her 14-year marriage to Thaís Baptista. Neném expressed disappointment over recent comments made by her former partner and admitted to personal shortcomings in the relationship, such as failing to prioritize quality time and attention. She denied allegations of infidelity and clarified her stance on their shared content creation.

In a separate development, influencer and singer Paula Aires shared details regarding her divorce from Matheus Aleixo, of the duo Kauan & Matheus. Aires revealed that she sought spiritual guidance and pastoral counseling in an attempt to reconcile the marriage for the sake of their children. Despite a 50-day period where the couple lived together again, they determined a restoration was not possible. Aires also addressed rumors regarding a private jet, stating she has used the aircraft since the separation but has requested its inclusion in the asset division.
