Brazilian sports: Ferroviária wins U-17 football title

Ferroviária has won the 2026 Brazilian Under-17 Women's Football Championship. The São Paulo-based team secured the title with a 2-1 victory over a team from Rio Grande do Sul in Porto Alegre. After a 4-4 draw in the first leg, Ferroviária took an early lead through Evelyn, followed by a goal from Laurinha, and a decisive second goal by Sofia in the 35th minute of the second half.

In volleyball, the Martin Luther/Marechal Rondon Under-16 team has reached the final of the Access B stage of the Brazilian Interclubes (CBI) Women's Championship. The team, which has remained undefeated throughout the competition, will face Fortaleza (CE) in the final in Volta Redonda. Regardless of the final result, Martin Luther/Marechal Rondon has already secured promotion to the main category of the CBI for the 2027 season.
