Brazilian Série C teams approach promotion in decisive quadrangular stage

The Brazilian Série C enters a decisive phase as the quadrangular stage approaches its conclusion. Several teams are positioned to secure promotion to Série B.

In the first group, Santa Cruz-PE leads with nine points and is close to securing access. A win or a draw in their upcoming match against Floresta, combined with a Botafogo-PB victory over Maringá, could guarantee their promotion. Botafogo-PB, despite being the overall leader in the first phase, has struggled in the quadrangular stage, losing all three matches played so far.

In the second group, Ferroviária leads with seven points and can secure promotion by defeating Brusque. Brusque currently sits as the vice-leader of the group. Other teams in contention for the top two spots in their respective groups include Maringá, Inter de Limeira, and Paysandu.
