In Bahia, state deputy Diego Castro (PL) said there is "zero chance" of a shared ticket with Minas Gerais Governor Romeu Zema or Goiás Governor Ronaldo Caiado, insisting that the conservative bloc rally behind Flávio Bolsonaro and ACM Neto. He also denounced MBL leader Renan Santos, accusing him of acting as a "Plan B for the PT" to weaken the right.

In the Amazon region, União Brasil candidate Roberto Cidade launched his 2026 re‑election bid and launched a hard‑line attack on Senator Omar Aziz (PSD). Backed by Governor Wilson Lima, Cidade accused Aziz of authoritarian behaviour and framed the campaign as a fight against the "old politics" that have dominated the state for decades. The rivalry signals a breakdown of previous alliances between the governor’s bloc and Aziz.
