Brazilian states launch hiring drives for health professionals

The Mato Grosso state Justice Secretariat (Sejus) announced a temporary hiring process for 20 health professionals to work in the socio‑educational system, offering 12 nursing and eight nursing‑technician positions across five municipalities. Salaries are R$ 8,321.05 for nurses and R$ 4,121.62 for technicians, with applications open from 19 to 22 June via the SiesMT platform.

The Santa Catarina State Health Secretariat (SES) opened a separate selection for 12 specialist positions at the Dr. Waldomiro Colautti Hospital in Ibirama, including doctors in several specialties, a speech‑therapist and an administrative technician. Salaries range from R$ 5,670.38 for the therapist to R$ 10,581.16 for physicians, and applications are accepted online from 18 June to 1 July.

Both hiring rounds aim to reinforce public‑sector health services and address staffing needs in their respective states.
