Brazilian states of Ceará and Pernambuco announce 3,073 new job vacancies

The Fortaleza Municipal Employment Service (Sine Municipal) opened a week of job placements from 13 to 17 July 2026, offering 1,777 positions across 247 occupations through 315 partner companies. The weekly program includes roles such as cleaning assistants, construction laborers, cashiers and kitchen staff. For the first half of 2026 the agency recorded 49,730 attendances and directed 91,626 workers to job opportunities, bringing its cumulative totals since January 2025 to 56,706 vacancies captured and 160,729 job seekers assisted.

In the neighbouring state of Pernambuco, the Secretariat of Professional Development and Entrepreneurship (Sedepe) published a list of 1,296 job openings for 13 July 2026, covering 19 municipalities. The capital Recife accounts for 430 vacancies, followed by Palmares (200) and Petrolina (180). The most advertised positions are Production Line Assistants (337), sales staff (159) and active telemarketing operators (100). The announcement also includes 96 positions reserved for people with disabilities, distributed across five municipalities.
