Brazilian surf competitions in Balneário Camboriú and São Sebastião attract athletes

The BC Long e SUP event took place on June 27, 2026 at Praia Central in Balneário Camboriú, Santa Catarina. Organized by the local surf association with municipal sports support, it featured Longboard, SUP Wave and, for the first time, a Parasurf category. Parasurf champion Figue Diel won the inaugural title, while Daniel Mika claimed the Longboard Open and Karina Popinhak won the Longboard Feminino. The next stage of the municipal circuit is scheduled for August 23.

The first stage of the Circuito Sebastianense de Surf is set for July 3‑5, 2026 at Cambury Beach in São Sebastião, São Paulo. The competition, organized by the local surf association and the city’s sports department, will host about 300 athletes across junior, master, professional/amateur and longboard categories. Registration remains open until June 27, and the event is sanctioned by the state surf federation. Winners will receive trophies and sponsor kits, and the circuit will culminate in a final stage later in the year.
