Brazilian teenager found in France after disappearance

Alice Dias de Oliveira, a 16-year-old Brazilian teenager from Goiás, has been found by French police after being missing since July 22. Alice had been living in Trappes, near Paris, with her parents for approximately four years.

The teenager disappeared after leaving an internship during her school holidays. Her last contact with her family was a message sent to her father at 10:40 p.m. while she was waiting for a train. Despite efforts to track her mobile phone and search efforts by friends and family in Paris, she remained missing until her recent location by authorities.

The family has requested privacy to protect Alice's physical and emotional recovery, noting that the investigation remains under seal. The Consulate-General of Brazil in Paris provided consular assistance to the family throughout the search.
