Brazilian telenovela 'Quem Ama Cuida' sees intensified family feud and a character's mysterious death

In the latest episodes of Globo's prime‑time telenovela "Quem Ama Cuida," the legal struggle over the Brandão inheritance deepens. Father Ademir, who had been defending Pilar’s interests, is challenged when his son Pedro publicly sides with Adriana, aligning against Pilar’s position. The conflict heightens the family’s internal tension and adds a new layer to the courtroom drama surrounding the late Arthur Brandão’s estate.

Actor Antonio Fagundes, who plays the murdered Arthur Brandão, told BBC Brasil that a revival of the character is unlikely, saying, “Seria complicado porque minha agenda está tomada até o fim do ano. Acho que não vai acontecer.” He also confirmed the on‑screen death, noting the audience’s reaction to the shocking plot twist – “ARTHUR BRANDÃO MORREU!” The actor joked about the public’s perception of his health and hinted at future legal matters for his own estate, though none are related to the show.

Both storylines underline the show's focus on betrayal, legal maneuvering, and the emotional fallout within the Brandão family as the narrative moves forward.
