São Paulo hosts Festival of World Foods and Music
The Festival Comidas e Músicas do Mundo took place on Saturday and Sunday in São Paulo’s Praça Charles Miller, opposite the Pacaembu stadium. Organized by the cultural group Cola em Sampa, the free event showcased more than 400 dishes representing the cuisines of 60 countries across all continents. Visitors could also enjoy musical and cultural performances, international crafts and other activities, with the venue open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and allowing pets. Co‑founder Priscila Arantes said the festival aims to bring people together by offering a “world tour without leaving the city,” each stall preserving traditions and inviting guests to experience unique flavors and cultural expressions.
