Brazilian towns launch park revitalization and road upgrades

The municipality of Suzano in São Paulo has approved a R$ 1.89 million program to improve streets in the Parque Alvorada neighbourhood. Work includes new storm‑water drainage, soil replacement, curb and gutter installation and asphalt resurfacing, with completion slated for the end of the year.

In Rio Branco, Acre, the city government is preparing a series of upgrades to the Parque Chico Mendes ahead of its 30th‑anniversary celebration on 31 July. Immediate actions will repair pavement, refurbish playground equipment and replace outdoor‑gym devices, with further phases planned for later in the year. Both projects aim to enhance mobility, safety and leisure facilities for local residents.
