Brazilian trade events drive significant regional economic activity
Major retail and specialized trade events in Brazil are driving significant economic activity. The 8th edition of Estética In Nordeste, held in Fortaleza, focuses on innovation and health within the beauty and wellness sector. The event expects to generate R$ 100 million in business tourism, attracting approximately 35,000 participants from over 23 Brazilian states. This comes amid a surge in the local market, with Ceará recording the opening of 1,668 aesthetic clinics in the first half of 2025.
In São Paulo, the retail event Exagerado generated approximately R$ 30 million in sales over five days at the Pavilhão das Culturas Brasileiras in Parque Ibirapuera. The event hosted 100 brands across fashion, beauty, and electronics, attracting more than 80,000 visitors. The operation supported roughly 1,500 jobs and managed the recycling of 15 tons of waste.
