Brazilian traffic departments announce vehicle auctions

State traffic departments in Brazil are conducting multiple vehicle auctions. In São Paulo, Detran-SP will hold an online auction starting August 25 for vehicles seized in Vargem Grande do Sul and six other regional cities. The sale includes 129 vehicles in drivable condition, 304 lots of scrap for parts, and 212 lots of unusable scrap intended for recycling or smelting.

In Bahia, Detran-BA is organizing two auctions featuring 438 lots of preserved vehicles and usable scrap across five cities, including Salvador and Feira de Santana. The auctions are scheduled for August 17 and August 21. Notable items include a 2023 Honda CG 160 with a minimum bid of R$ 2,000 and a 2012/2013 Volkswagen Gol with a minimum bid of R$ 4,000. Both auctions will be conducted exclusively online.
