A Nobreza do Amor recap: Kênia jailed, Tonho shot, new betrayals

The Brazilian telenovela *A Nobreza do Amor* saw several dramatic developments between 6 and 11 July. Prince‑like Kênia was ordered imprisoned by her father King Jendal and later kept as his hostage, heightening the power struggle in the fictional kingdom of Batanga.

In Barro Preto, Tonho was wounded by a gunshot; Onildo revealed that his medication had been sabotaged, prompting Alika and Lúcia to fear for his health. Fátima deceived her daughter Salma to maintain control over her, while other characters—Dumi, Akin and Ladisa—attempted to steal the king’s jewels and repeatedly evaded the royal guard.

Additional plot points included Virgínia announcing a hunger strike, Mirinho confronting her, and various romantic entanglements such as Ana Maria proposing to Manoel. The week also introduced new alliances, with Binta being named queen of Batanga and the arrival of the rebel leader Omar’s entourage in Brazil.
