Brazilian TV Stars Xuxa and Viviane Araújo Address Rumors and Share Past Music Ventures

Xuxa Meneghel told a video‑cast interview that longstanding rumors claiming she made a pact with the devil are “one of the things that bothers me most.” She said her long‑standing success across Brazil and other countries comes from a positive force, not any supernatural agreement, and expressed frustration at the speculation. Xuxa also announced her upcoming tour “The Last Flight of the Ship,” with shows scheduled in São Paulo (late July), Curitiba (late September), Belo Horizonte (mid‑November) and Rio de Janeiro’s Maracanã (December 20).

Viviane Araújo recalled her brief 2008 stint as a vocalist for the forró group Chamego de Menina. She described the experience as “a crazy thing I got into,” noting she took singing lessons and performed at Rio’s Feira de São Cristóvão. Although the musical venture was short‑lived, the actress‑presenter highlighted it as a memorable, experimental phase in her broader career that later focused on television and carnival performances.
