Brazilian Universities Expand Enrollment Options with In-Person Drive and Free Online Specializations
The University of Uberaba (Uniube) organized a five‑day on‑site enrollment campaign at its Araxá campus from August 3 to August 7. Prospective students could attend without prior appointment, receive guidance from staff including commercial manager Magno Lomba, and complete registration by presenting identification, CPF, high‑school transcript and proof of residence. Participants who finalized their enrollment on‑site received a university‑branded gift.
The Federal University of Alfenas (UNIFAL‑MG) announced 468 free, fully online specialization slots through the Universidade Aberta do Brasil (UAB) program. Applications are open until August 24, 2026, with a R$ 40 participation fee. Available courses include Education for Health in School Contexts, Public Management, and Modeling in Mathematics/Statistics for Education, each with specific regional poles but open to candidates nationwide. Selected students will begin studies in the second semester of 2026, provided they have internet access and the necessary computer skills.
