Several Brazilian educational institutions have opened applications for professional master's programs.

The Instituto Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (IFRN), in coordination with CAPES, is offering 100 vacancies for a professional master's in Teaching for Professional and Technological Education (EPT). The program is distributed across five federal institutes: IFRN, IFAM (Amazonas), IFES (Espírito Santo), IFB (Brasília), and IFSul (Rio Grande do Sul). Applications are open until November 2, and the selection process includes an objective exam scheduled for December 6. The program is designed for teachers currently working in professional and technological education, with classes beginning in the first semester of 2027.

Additionally, the Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) has opened registration for 40 vacancies in a free distance learning (EAD) professional master's program focused on Telehealth and Digital Health. The program is open to graduates from any field. Research areas include remote assistance technologies, health education technologies, artificial intelligence in health, and three-dimensional technologies. Selected students are expected to begin their studies in March 2027.
