Brazilian universities UFSM and Unifal open vestibular enrollment for 2026‑2027 admissions

The Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM) opened enrollment for its 2026 second‑semester vestibular that uses Enem scores. Applications are accepted online from June 16 through June 29, are free of charge, and will fill 214 remaining seats. Preliminary results are scheduled for July 6, with the final list published on July 9.

The Federal University of Alfenas (Unifal) began accepting applications for its 2027 vestibular on June 29. The fee is R$ 165, with exemptions available until July 28 for low‑income or public‑school students. Candidates may sit the exam on October 11 in Alfenas, Poços de Caldas or Varginha. A total of 669 slots across 28 courses are offered. Preliminary results will appear on August 17, and the definitive list on August 27.
