Brazilian universities UNIFAL-MG and UNIFACISA launch 2026 admission and project challenge

The Federal University of Alfenas (UNIFAL-MG) announced opening of its vestibular for the 2027 academic year. The selection offers 669 vacancies across 28 on‑campus courses, with an online registration period that runs until August 27, 2026. The fee is R$165, with fee‑exemption options for low‑income applicants. Exams are scheduled for October 11, 2026, in Alfenas, Poços de Caldas and Varginha.

Separately, Unifacisa in Campina Grande (PB) launched the Desafio Unifacisa, inviting public, private and third‑sector institutions to submit real‑world project demands. Submissions are accepted online until July 22, 2026. Selected challenges will be developed by undergraduate students during the second semester of 2026, with a full timeline that includes validation, project development and final delivery by November 30, 2026.
