Brazilian universities unveil 2027 vestibular reading lists and exam schedules

The State University of Southwest Bahia (Uesb) released its mandatory works for the 2027 vestibular, selecting two books—"Mata doce" by Luciany Aparecida and "Sagarana" by João Guimarães Rosa—and the music album "Raça Humana" by Gilberto Gil. The institution noted that the film list for the exam will be announced later.

The University of the State of Amazonas (UEA) published the official notice for its 2027 vestibular and the 2026 Serial Admission System (SIS). Registrations open on 13 July, with exams scheduled for 12‑13 October (general and specific knowledge) and a separate skills test on 30 August for music, dance and theatre courses. The university will offer 1,764 vestibular vacancies and 2,648 SIS slots, allocating seats for indigenous candidates, Black students, people with disabilities and vulnerable immigrants.
