Brazilian universities unveil vestibular schedules and application details

The State University of Western Paraná (UNIOESTE) announced its 2025 vestibular, outlining available courses across its Cascavel campus and satellite sites, the dual admission paths—50% of slots through the university's own exam and the remainder via the national SISU system—and the requirement that all seats be filled.

The Federal University of Alfenas (UNIFAL-MG) released its 2027 vestibular edital, opening online registration from 29 June to 27 August 2026 with a R$165 fee. The exam will be held on 11 October 2026 in Alfenas, Poços de Caldas and Varginha, and candidates can apply as regular students or “trainees” for self‑evaluation. The selection includes broad competition and quota slots for public‑school graduates, people with disabilities, and self‑identified Black, Brown, Indigenous and quilombola applicants.
