Brazilian Workers Eye Higher Pay and Job Security Through 2026

A new Remessa Online study shows that, in Brazil, the highest average salaries in 2026 will be earned by C‑level executives (about R$ 86,000 per month), followed by technology and AI specialists (≈ R$ 41,500), finance risk‑management experts (≈ R$ 70,200) and senior health professionals (≈ R$ 60,000). Skills such as data and artificial‑intelligence expertise, leadership, sustainability knowledge and English fluency are cited as decisive for top remuneration.

The 69th edition of CNI’s “Retratos da Sociedade Brasileira: Futuro Profissional” survey reveals that Brazilian workers prioritize higher salaries (28.7%), job stability (22.4%) and career advancement (20.1%) when planning their next five years. Main obstacles include family‑care responsibilities, lack of qualifications and limited information on vacancies. While 54% rate their digital skills as medium‑high, only 44.5% feel confident with advanced tools like AI and complex spreadsheet modeling. Formal CLT employment remains the preferred contract, especially among 25‑34‑year‑olds (41.4%).
