The Regional Electoral Courts of Brazil have begun logistical preparations for the 2026 general elections. In Paraná, the TRE‑PR started contacting roughly 110,000 mesários and 38,000 collaborators through the official WhatsApp number (41) 3330‑8500, providing details on duties, mandatory online training beginning in August, and benefits such as paid leave, a R$ 65 per‑shift meal allowance, and two‑year half‑price cultural tickets. The court also warned voters about fraud attempts, emphasizing that it never asks for passwords, CPF or fees.

In Santa Catarina, the TRE‑SC announced that, for the first time, mesário convocations will be sent via WhatsApp from the official 0800 647 3888 line. About 80,000 volunteers are expected, with similar training schedules and the same statutory benefits.

Separately, the TRE‑MS defined vote‑in‑transit arrangements for voters who will be outside their home municipality on election day. The service will be offered at Sebrae in Campo Grande and at the São José Operário parish in Dourados. Requests must be submitted between 20 July and 20 August 2026 through the online portal or any electoral office, and eligible voters can cast ballots for all offices if voting within the same state, or only for president and vice‑president if voting in a different state. The courts reiterated that the temporary transfer does not alter the voter’s registration.
