Brazil's 2026 Gaming Showcases Highlight Indie and Amazon Region Games
The Headscon pavilion at Expoacre 2026 will run for nine days, featuring games developed in Brazil's Amazon Legal region. Visitors can play ten finalist titles from Acre, Amazonas, Pará, Amapá and Tocantins, vote for the Popular Jury award, meet developers, and take part in a research survey on the regional gaming market. A prize pool of roughly R$70 000 covers categories such as Best Game, Best Art and Best Audio, with winners earning spots at Gamescom LATAM and Gamescom Germany.
Separately, the Mundo Gamer Showcase announced its third digital edition for 25 September 2026. The event will spotlight independent developers from multiple countries, offering trailers, interviews, key distribution and media partnerships to raise visibility for PC, console and mobile titles. The prior edition featured 38 indie games, over 50 co‑streamers and 60 international media partners, and organizers say participation will expand further this year. Submissions remain open for new projects.
