Brazil's 2026 Winter Clothing Campaign Distributes Over 81,000 Items

The 2026 Campanha do Agasalho, Brazil's annual winter clothing drive, has expanded donation sites to more than 200 locations in Guarulhos, providing collection boxes for blankets, shoes, socks, hats, scarves and even pet bedding. Items must be clean and in good condition before being triaged, sanitized and sorted for distribution.

In Caxias do Sul, the campaign gathered roughly 200,000 pieces and has already handed out about 81,000 items to 75 charitable entities, aiming to reach around 25,000 people with at least five pieces each. Over 400 collection boxes have been placed in schools, churches, businesses and supermarkets, and the distribution phase continues despite limited volunteer numbers and space constraints.
