Anvisa bans obesity‑treatment platform Voy and suspends Artro100 supplement and creatine gummies
The Brazil health regulator Anvisa issued two sets of resolutions published in the Diário Oficial da União on 25‑26 June 2026. It ordered the immediate suspension of the online platform Voy, which offered personalized obesity treatments and medication dosing, because the service is not registered as medical‑device software and its operator, Revia Gestão de Negócios Ltda., lacks a pharmacy license. The agency warned that medicines sold outside authorized pharmacies cannot guarantee quality or safety.
In a separate resolution, Anvisa seized the dietary supplement Artro100, whose manufacturer is unknown and whose composition is indeterminate. The product was marketed with therapeutic claims – such as reducing inflammation, strengthening joints and improving mobility – that are prohibited for food supplements. The agency also halted the commercialisation, distribution and consumption of three batches of a creatine gum (green‑grape flavour) produced by Idn Labs Indústria Farmacêutica & Food Supplements Ltda., after the company reported creatine levels outside legal limits and labeling irregularities. Both actions prohibit sale, advertising and use of the affected products nationwide.
