Baía do Sancho, located on the island of Fernando de Noronha in Pernambuco, Brazil, has been placed fourth in a global ranking of the 20 most beautiful beaches. The list was compiled by the tourism platform Hellotickets and published in the U.S. magazine Luxury Web Magazine.

The beach is praised for its dramatic cliffs, crystal‑clear waters, and rich marine life, including sea turtles and rays. Officials say the recognition highlights the archipelago’s model of sustainable tourism, which limits visitor numbers and emphasizes environmental protection. Hayrton Almeida, president of the Visite Fernando de Noronha Convention & Visitors Bureau, noted that such rankings boost the destination’s visibility in key international markets and strengthen the local tourism economy.

The accolade adds to a series of awards the island has received in recent years, reinforcing its status as a premier nature‑based travel destination.
