Brazil's Bake Off and Que Seja Doce launch new seasons on television

The 12th season of Bake Off Brasil premiered on SBT on 1 August 2026, featuring 18 amateur bakers, an interactive panel to track timers and stages, and judges Nadja Haddad, Beca Milano and Giuseppe Gerundino. The first contestant was eliminated, and the series will also be broadcast on Discovery Home & Health and HBO Max starting 7 August.

Que Seja Doce, a new season dedicated to Brazilian regional desserts, debuted on GNT and Globoplay on 3 August 2026. Hosted by Felipe Bronze, the show includes judges Lucas Corazza, Michele Crispim, Tábata Romero and special guest Talitha Morete. Over seven episodes, contestants present recipes that reflect their local cultures, and winners will have their stories followed in visits to their hometowns.

Both programs highlight Brazil’s diverse confectionery traditions and aim to blend technical skill with cultural storytelling.
