Brazil's beef and grain sectors host major conferences in Rio Grande do Sul and Paraná
The 3rd Fenagen Promebo livestock fair in Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul, will host the Forum Carne Hereford on July 3. Organized by the Brazilian Hereford and Braford Association (ABHB), executive manager Felipe Azambuja said the forum aims to bring together producers, meat processors, restaurants, and genetics breeders to discuss challenges and opportunities across the beef supply chain.
From August 12‑14, Carambeí, Paraná, will hold the 9th Brazilian Post‑Harvest Conference (CBP 2026) together with the 13th Paraná Post‑Harvest Symposium. The event, led by Abrapos president José Ronaldo Quirino and partnered with cooperatives Frísia, Castrolanda and Capal, will focus on grain storage, drying, pest control and loss‑reduction technologies. Organizers expect about 600 participants and will address the 2025/26 grain outlook of roughly 358.6 million tonnes.
