Brazil releases July 2026 payment calendar for Bolsa Família, PIS/PASEP and INSS benefits

The federal government has published the July 2026 payment schedule for several social assistance programs. Bolsa Família payments will be made between 20 July and 31 July, staggered according to the final digit of the beneficiary’s NIS. About 18.7 million families, representing roughly 48.9 million people, will receive a minimum of R$ 600 per family, with additional amounts for children, adolescents and pregnant women. Eligibility requires registration in CadÚnico, per‑person income of up to R$ 218, and compliance with health and education conditionalities.

The PIS/PASEP salary (abono) for workers linked to the 2024 reference year will also be released in July 2026, with amounts up to R$ 1,621. Payments follow a calendar based on the workers’ birth months; eligible recipients must have at least five years of registration, a monthly average salary of up to R$ 2,766 and a minimum of 30 days of formal employment during the reference period.

The INSS calendar shows that benefits at the minimum wage level will start on 27 July, ordered by the penultimate digit of the benefit number, while higher‑value pensions and salaries will begin on 3 August. The BPC/LOAS continued‑payment schedule runs from 27 July to 7 August, using the same digit‑based sequencing. Beneficiaries can consult dates via the Meu INSS app or the Caixa Tem app.
