Brazil's Carol Solberg and Rebecca reach Elite 16 quarterfinals in Hamburg

Brazilian beach‑volleyball pair Carol Solberg and Rebecca completed the group stage of the Elite 16 tournament in Hamburg with a perfect record, winning both matches against the United States and Switzerland and securing a direct spot in the quarter‑finals. Their victories gave them the top position in Group B with six points.

Other Brazilian teams also remained in contention: Thâmela/Victoria advanced after a win over Ukraine and a walk‑over against Canada, while the men's duo Evandro and Arthur Lanci earned a place in the repêchage after beating Germany. In contrast, the pair Ana Patrícia/Carol Horta were eliminated after losses to Australia, Italy and Germany.
