Brazil's Central-West Superliga C Volleyball Stage Kicks Off in Sorriso and Brasília

The Central-West phase of Brazil's Superliga C volleyball competition began on 5 May in Sorriso, Mato Grosso, with the women's stage running through 9 May at Arena Sorriso. Five teams – Sorriso Hornets ASV/MT, Instituto ACE/GO, Associação Força Vôlei/MT, Minas Tênis Clube Brasília/DF and Nação Colorada/GO – compete for the regional title, a spot in the national Super Final in São Paulo, and the two best teams earn promotion to Superliga B.

Meanwhile, the men's side sees Instituto Ace from Goiás traveling to Brasília for its debut on 6 May against Minas Brasília. Coach Paulo Martins emphasizes a blend of home‑grown talent and experienced players, aiming to reach the Superliga B. The Central‑West stage gathers clubs from Goiás, the Federal District, Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul, with the regional champion advancing to the national phase.
