Chainalysis partners with Brazil's ABcripto to train crypto regulators
Chainalysis and the Brazilian Association of Cryptoeconomics (ABcripto) have signed a cooperation agreement to develop training programs, technical education and knowledge‑sharing events for regulators, public authorities and market participants. The partnership will draw on Chainalysis’ blockchain‑analytics expertise and ABcripto’s sector network to promote market integrity, risk management and innovation in Brazil’s digital‑asset ecosystem. Julia Rosin, ABcripto’s director‑president, said the collaboration “strengthens education, technical capacity and institutional dialogue” while Chainalysis CEO Jonathan Levin highlighted the joint effort to support “qualified debates, trainings and joint actions” for authorities.
At the same time, Brazil’s Chamber of Deputies will hold a public hearing on how stablecoins should be classified under legislative bill PL 4308. Representatives from the Central Bank, tax authority, federal police and industry groups, including ABToken, will discuss whether stablecoins remain virtual assets or should be treated as electronic money, a change that could affect existing regulations and licensing deadlines.
Both initiatives reflect ongoing efforts to shape Brazil’s regulatory framework for crypto assets as the sector adapts to new rules and legislative proposals.
