Brazil's Construction and Equipment Fairs Highlight Sector Integration
The Brazil Equipo Show (BES) 2026 took place from 4 to 7 August in Jaguariúna, São Paulo, gathering companies from construction, infrastructure, mining, agribusiness, equipment rental and logistics. Organisers emphasized the growing convergence of these sectors, noting that shared technologies such as automation, connectivity, telematics and intelligent management systems are allowing machines to be adapted across applications. Director Guilherme Ramos said, “The sectors are increasingly connected. Manufacturers, distributors, renters and users now share technologies, solutions and business opportunities.”
At the same time, the 27th Construsul International Construction Fair was held from 4 to 7 August in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul. The event showcased industrialised building processes, digital project management, artificial‑intelligence tools, high‑performance materials and energy‑efficiency solutions. Ricardo Richter, director of Construsul, noted that the fair “reflects market movements such as industrialisation, digitalisation, AI and sustainability.” The fair attracted more than 300 exhibitors, expected around 35 000 visitors and projected business activity of roughly R$ 900 million. Both events illustrate how Brazil’s construction market is integrating with agribusiness, mining and technology to drive new opportunities and productivity gains.
