Brazil's DeRE production phase set to begin October 2026

The Declaration of Specific Regimes (DeRE) is moving toward its production phase as part of Brazil's consumption tax reform. The Receita Federal and the IBS Management Committee have released the official endpoints for taxpayers to transmit and consult event batches via technological integration.

Production traffic is scheduled to open on October 1, 2026, at 9:00 AM Brasília time. The initial phase will focus on taxpayer table events. Monthly periodic events are expected to begin on November 15, 2026, with further stages planned for 2027. Companies are encouraged to use the released technical information to adjust their systems in advance, as connection attempts made before the established time will be rejected.
