Brazil's Dom Helder University expands tech labs in partnership with MIT

In Brazil, Dom Helder University is advancing this trend by linking its campus to an international network of laboratories associated with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The new high‑tech labs will serve health‑related programs—including nursing, biomedicine, physiotherapy, speech therapy and psychology—and are preparing for the launch of dentistry and medicine courses. University leaders emphasise that the partnership, together with an international Jesuit university network, will provide students with personalized, globally‑connected training and help them keep pace with rapid scientific and technological change. The institution also highlights its strong law program, which recent graduates topped the national bar exam.

These initiatives illustrate how digital tools and strategic collaborations are being used to modernise teaching and better prepare graduates for the evolving job market.
