Brazil's Enade exam sets Friday deadline for special accommodation appeals

Students registered for the 2026 Enade (Exame Nacional de Desempenho dos Estudantes) who had their requests for special accommodation denied may submit an appeal until Friday, 7 November. Appeals must be filed through the Enade system using the Gov.br password and must include renewed documentation proving the need for accommodation. Eligible conditions include disability, pregnancy, lactation, diabetes, elderly status and other specific situations outlined in the edital. The outcome of the appeals will be published on 14 November.

The Enade exam itself is scheduled for 29 November across all Brazilian states and the Federal District. It lasts four hours and consists of a general section with 15 multiple‑choice questions and a specific section for each of the 18 evaluated areas, containing 30 multiple‑choice questions and one essay. Results and student questionnaire responses feed into the Higher Education Quality Indicators.

The deadline and appeal process are part of the broader effort to ensure equal testing conditions for all candidates.
