Brazilian Celebrities Champion Climate at Fica Festival and Rio Nature Week

Pop star Anitta sent a video message to Rio Nature & Climate Week on 4 June, praising indigenous leader Raoni and the Kayapó people. She urged greater recognition of indigenous knowledge and territorial rights, emphasizing that protecting forests is essential for the planet’s future. Both events gathered scientists, activists and public figures to promote environmental stewardship in Brazil.
